Research
We are studying how students in arts and design programs think about and value AI in their creative practice.
Using a set of short, creative reflection activities called “design probes,” we capture participants’ ideas about AI before and after the workshops to see whether and how their thinking changes through hands-on engagement.
The study is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and has been reviewed and approved by the Carnegie Mellon University Institutional Review Board (IRB).
